Annual Report
The Annual Report is a requirement of the Office of Fair Trading and the Incorporations Act. Our funding and performance is in agreement with South East Sydney & Illawarra Area Health Centre, who administer our funding grant from NSW Health.
A summary of the Annual Report is presented by the Manager of the centre and the Council of Women’s Chairwoman at the beginning of each Annual General Meeting. A report from the financial auditors is also available.
A copy of the Annual Report is available to those attending the AGM. It reports on our 3-year plan that coincides with our 3-year Area Health funding cycle. It also shows our commitment towards the current national and state priority issues for women, including all the ongoing and innovative work of the centre and statistics of the following:
- New and repeat clients
- Occasions of Service by Doctors and Nurse and the health issue presented
- Occasions of service by other practitioners (counselling, naturopathy, massage, reflexology, homeopathy etc)
- Demographics such as cultural backgrounds, suburbs, age groups etc
- Frontline statistics.
There are also short reports on health promotion, education, and community development activities, projects, programs and events that took place during the year.
