Women's health resources
The Illawarra Women’s Health Centre provides a range of resources. These include:
- Providing speakers to Community Education groups and projects on topics relevant to women’s health.
- A community computer is available to clients of the centre who wish to access the Internet.
- Access to photocopying.
- A small lending library – books on health and other topics that may be of interest to women are available to be looked at and borrowed for up to 3-4 weeks at a time.
- A large range of brochures and booklets with topics providing an holistic view of women’s health.
- A computer Resource Database with hundreds of entries to provide women with appropriate referrals and a wide range of information.
- A Women’s Card (wallet size) with a range of emergency phone numbers and other useful local services and contact numbers.

- Our Calendar of activities which is produced twice yearly, January-June and July-December, giving information about the Centre, our Vision and our philosophy, courses, groups and activities which are running, and information regarding the Complementary Therapies available here.
- The Report of the Muslim Women's Project which ran at the Illawarra Women's Health Centre over 3 years, called "Unveiling the Myths: Report of the
Consultations 2007", written by Helen Dooley, Manager of the Women's Health Centre, and Bahtisen Anaz, who was the Project Officer.
- Published by the Illawarra Women's Health Centre in November 2008. Copies available from the Centre, Ph 02 4255 6800. Price $7.50 plus postage & handling.
- A Women & Gambling Project publication - "Creating the Fabric: women weaving new lives and overcoming gambling", published by the Illawarra Women's Health Centre, April 2005.
