A note on the Pelvic Floor Chair
As many as 1 in 3 women experience minor degrees of incontinence. Minor problems tend to worsen with time, childbirth and menopause.
With the Pelvic Floor Chair, there is now hope of restoring normal bladder function without surgery. The chair creates a therapeutic magnetic field that produces powerful stimulation to vital muscles that cannot be activated through manual pelvic floor exercises alone.
The program is simple, painless and non-invasive, consisting of 16 sessions where the client sits comfortably, fully clothed on the chair. Each treatment takes 20 minutes and is repeated twice a week for 8 weeks.
At July 2011, we have completed 12 programs with the chair and we, and the women who have taken part, are very pleased with the results.
Women who wish to participate in the program need to be assessed by their own doctor, who could refer you here after completing a Medicare Item No. 721 Care Plan.
NB. This treatment may not be suitable for all cases of incontinence.
