Kim McKeen

Kim has had 38 years working in the education sector, as a secondary Health and Physical Education teacher for the NSW Department of Education and as lecturer in teacher education at the University of Wollongong. During her career she has held a range of major governance and leadership roles providing both strategic leadership and operational responsibility, while collaborating and communicating with a range of stakeholders.

A strong focus throughout her career has been advocating for quality education and the promotion of individual and community health and wellbeing. Kim hopes that the knowledge, skills and experience she has gained throughout her career, specifically in education, governance, program development and teaching will support both the Council of Women and the IWHC to continue to support and improve the physical, mental and emotional health, and wellbeing of women and girls.
