We’re excited to share a beautiful story that highlights the connection and community fostered through our Weavers Program.

Betty and Sandra first connected through the program, which is designed to support caregivers as they navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one living with dementia. The Weavers Program helps carers maintain their own wellbeing while building relationships and resilience.

Recently, Sandra, a Weaver, began a new chapter managing @thebellevuekiama in Kiama. She invited Betty to visit and asked if she would like to create an artwork that captures the spirit of the property.

Betty embraced the opportunity, creating a stunning piece that reflects the charm and beauty of the hotel. When we caught up with her afterwards, she spoke about how meaningful the experience had been - a chance to reconnect with her creativity and feel part of something special.

This story is a powerful reflection of the relationships that grow through the Weavers Program.
